Hi all,
Because Macbeth
is on YouTube tonight (at 7pm), I thought I'd have a look for other versions that
you can watch if you miss it. I didn't realise how much stuff is available on
Clickview! And I’ve found other resources too. I haven’t even checked the likes
of Amazon, Netflix and Now TV.
The links in bold are highly recommended.
This isn’t classwork or homework at this point. I’m just
showing you that they exist. When we finish reading Great Expectations, I’ll probably ask you to watch ‘Fit Pip’ and we
can watch ‘Welsh Pip’ when we get back to school.
(For Clickview resources, you just need your school log-in details.)
- Macbeth (RSC, 2018) (recorded live – recommended)
- Macbeth (2015) (not the best – I think it’s slow and dull)
- Great Expectations (2012) (Not my favourite – but a stellar cast. Available for 19 days.)
- Great Expectations (1946) (Black and white Pip – this is regarded as a classic and won two Academy Awards)
Let me know if you find anything else!
Mr M
